Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for IT provision in our Singapore office, performing day to day 1 st /2 nd line support, escalating issues to global colleagues and 3 rd line teams when applicable. Our ideal candidate will already have strong client hardware and OS experience as well as a solid understanding of server, network and telephone infrastructure. The role would suit someone who was looking to build on their support skills whilst moving towards an Engineering role in the mid-term.
As well as a strong technical base the successful candidate will have strong people skills, being able to integrate into their local team as well as the global Technology Services team. Excellent customer service is a mandatory requirement.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for day to day IT support provision and administration (Active Directory/ Exchange) in their offices of responsibility whilst providing support for other offices / regions as required. Working with team to provide coverage and a high level of support, managing escalations as required. This will include VIP support.
• The International IT Support Engineer II will also have responsibilities for making sure, incident and tasks are raised via the correct process using the ServiceNow Service Management software, also using ServiceNow for accurate asset management.
• Partake and be local project lead on IT projects.
• Responsible for Tech purchasing for office, making sure correct local process is met and best price possible is attained and correct approval is received.
• Build strong relationships with local customer base and global Technology Services Team.
Qualifications:
• Microsoft Windows 8.1 & Mac/OS X
• Active Directory / Exchange
• Microsoft Office 2013 & other client software.
• Windows Server 2012
• Infrastructure outage management, WAN, LAN & patching.
