Purpose of Role

MWW is seeking a Senior Director of Market Research and Business Intelligence to lead and shape the Research & Insights team. Responsible for utilizing a broad base of research tools and methods to identify, create insights and report on Category/Competitor, Industry/Consumer and brand research.

This is a senior level role with client-facing and internal management responsibilities. This will contribute across multiple industries and support all MWW practice areas. Will know how to use market as a strategic development tool – both for client projects and strategy, internal thought leadership and marketing and new business pitches. This role will have approximately 3 direct reports and will report to the Chief Strategy Officer.

  • Comfortable with complex business challenges and research methodologies
  • Ability to communicate concise, prioritized top-line findings and opportunities
  • Ability to derive strategic insights from research outcomes
  • Familiar with various media monitoring tools and services
  • Accountable for managing vendors & products/tools
  • Ability to effectively delegate, and manage multi projects at one time

Skills

  • Creating research objectives and expected business outcomes
  • Proficient in identifying macro category/consumer trends
  • Creating appropriate research methodologies
  • Recruiting for, and facilitating qualitative research using consumer panels
  • Crafting qualitative discussion guides, surveys
