Primary Responsibilities:
– Demonstrate understanding of key client information including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers and competitors
– Manage media relations by identifying & working with target media and demonstrating a network of traditional and online media contacts and influencers
– Write press materials and internal communications
– Edit and proofread written materials for quality and adherence to appropriate writing style
– Manage projects using organizational skills, working with colleagues, vendors and support agencies and keeping project leaders apprised of status
– Coordinate public relations tactics by managing workflow, logistics and interaction with media and influencers
– Demonstrate an understanding of and implement public engagement and social media programs
– Implement traditional and online research techniques
– Participate and assist in program brainstorming, development and planning
Qualification:
-Minimum of 2 years PR related experience preferably obtained with leading PR agencies or MNCs, in-depth knowledge in a specific field required
– Possess a solid grasp of all traditional public relations tools
– Ability to demonstrate sound understanding of design, print and production, and event organization
– Ability to plan and organize media outreach and other related client events
– Strong writing skills complimented with extensive media release drafting experience
– Fluent written and oral English / Chinese ability
