Description
The Recruiting Operations Director plays a vital role as part of the Recruiting team. The Recruiting Operations Director has a strong understanding of the Recruiting process, as well as strong technical expertise in utilizing data, analytics, and technology to enhance the recruiting process and improve overall client service delivery. He/she must be an expert in process and change management, as well as project management of large-scale initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement of Recruiting process and technology infrastructure to ensure compliant, efficient, and high-quality service delivery
- Own recruiting tools and systems (i.e., Taleo applicant tracking system, onboarding tool)
- Lead OFCCP tracking and ensure compliance; proactively maintain and ensure accuracy of AFL (applicant flow logs)
- Establish common, consistent processes across the multiple regional offices – including standardizing new position approval forms, interview feedback forms, and job descriptions
- Analyze recruiting metrics and recommend areas for improvement – including but not limited to applicant-to-interview ratio, interview-to-hire ratio, time-to-fill, and diversity hires
- Document recruiting process flow and identify pain points and/or bottlenecks
- Develop and maintain recruiting dashboards for all hiring channels
- Collaborate with Recruiters and HR partners to evaluate overall recruiting process, with an emphasis on improving the candidate experience
- Document, maintain, and ensure appropriate governance for recruiting policies and programs including but not limited to Background Check procedures, Employee Referral Program, New Hire Onboarding process
- Collect and manage marketing collateral for recruiting purposes (i.e., client case studies, video reels, web site links to work, awards, video tours of offices, YouTube channels for recruiting)
- Measure effectiveness of recruiting channels including social media and professional networking sites to produce viable candidates
- Research new tools, vendors, systems; propose new partnerships and technologies
- Partner with IT to optimize data architecture and reporting frameworks
- Analyze process, roles, organizational structures, systems, and key performance indicators and propose changes to improve overall effectiveness and efficiency of Recruiting function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7-10 years of in-house recruiting experience, preferably with full responsibility for operations
- Strong understanding of Recruiting process and best practices
- Extremely tech savvy with experience working with applicant tracking systems, preferably Taleo
- Expertise in implementing change or process improvement in a Recruiting environment
- Experience in successfully implementing or enhancing large-scale enterprise systems
- Passion for making data and analytics accessible and easy-to-use for non-technical audiences
- Ability to translate data into compelling business cases and then into practical solutions
- Strong project management skills, including impeccable attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Desktop software, Internet, and Web-based applications
