Primary Responsibilities:
-Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence.
– Consistently produce high quality communications content for clients
– Lead research, planning and development of comprehensive public relations campaigns
– Help plan and coordinate traditional and social media outreach programs
– Help pull together cross-practice and cross-geographical teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal
– Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals
– Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefits) and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
Qualification:
-At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing, preferably with Multinational Companies.
– Proven ability to lead and manage large projects as well as teams on multiple sizable accounts simultaneously
– S/he will be familiar with best-practice communications tactics and public relations tools and will be able to appropriately recommend them to executive-level clients and lead the execution of all related projects in house
– Good research, writing and editing skills (both English and Chinese), as well as the ability to interact with clients professionally and maintain relationships with media members.
– Strong writing skills complimented with extensive media release drafting experience
– Good management skills to lead 3-4 team members.
– A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is highly preferred.
